If you have ever been double-dating Thai girls, you know that you've got to be careful, especially in a small town like Chiang Mai where everyone-knows-everyone and every girl can trace another girl.

I had been dating Fai for a while, well .. dating is a big word, basically I told her I was seeing other girls and if she consented to be a gik (กิ๊ก), we could get along and see how it goes. I guess her take was that she would have a chance amongst other girls to have a relationship with a farang, and hoping for true love she went for it.

Fai had a short body but firm breasts so I could enjoy our interaction but the thing that really put me off was the way she would scream during sex. Suddenly, the voice of a mature woman in her menopause would scream out from the body of a uni girl, it kind of didn't match so after all I wasn't too sad to let her go.

At that time, I started to see another girl, Jan, who was far more sexy, didn't make those awful sounds during sex and looked rather gorgeous when she dressed up so I wasn't really ashamed to be seen with her.
Technically I switched from Fai to Jan but you know how girls can have a longer timespan in their emotions so somehow there must have been a prolonged period of double-dating in the girls' minds.
Anyway, one night I'm having dinner as suddenly Jan calls me up, disturbed and summons me to pick her up. I must have ignored my gut feeling fantasizing what position I'd put her in this time, because she was disturbed and acted differently.

I pick her up, she tells me to drive her to my place, I obey in the same way as I always do when a girl tells me to take her, but when we get home she suddenly starts talking about Fai. I ask her what she knows about Fai, tell her that that's all over and I have nothing to hide.

Apparently, Jan searched through my friends and comments on Facebook and saw other girls commenting on my pictures. Now she must have contacted quite a few girls before she found Fai and the two had started conversations about me to find out that there was some period of emotional overlap, although technically I re-assert that I'm clean. So guys, if you want to avoid problems, avoid Facebook, it's a crap site with too many privacy settings and you never know who's looking.

To make a long story short, the two girls tell each other all about me, they even meet up, maybe they became sort of friends or more accurately: fate-mates, because they were 'cheated' by the same bad guy. Anyway, this was probably their version of the truth, I'd rather say they shared the same taste, but in the end .. they decide to confront me.
So Jan is in the middle of telling me all this shit while mysteriously playing with her iPhone when suddenly the doorbell rings and guess who shows up: Fai.

I let her in and the two girls exchange meaningful looks. I'm actually relieved to leave the talking to them because I can now let them verify information in between them rather than me explaining my sexual history.

I don't know why these girls deliberately set up this meeting, Jan actually texted Fai that she could come up minutes ago, so the whole thing is a set up and for what? My first guess is it's out of revenge to confront a womanizer like me but under the surface I sense their jealousy and the covert hope to win over the other girl.

So here I am with two girls officially acting out as as a righteous species done injustice to by the bad guy who happens to be me, but under the table the entire play is just there for either girl to win. Perhaps they also wanted to get some clarity about their situation and what happened, but why would you want to do that together with the other girl? To prevent me from lying, I guess.
I always left soom room for interpretation about what I'd be with either girl, the magical word being gik, but for them it must have felt like the gateway to becoming a real girlfriend.

By this time, it's getting late and I'm getting a bit tired of the situation. The girls aren't making much progress in their unsettled hearts and don't show any signs of moving.

Before I know I say: Truth is, another girl I'm seeing now is my girlfriend but things aren't good so whoever can make me most happy is going to be my next.
Ooops, I realize I just threw a spark in the hay but perhaps there's isn't much to loose anyway so let's see what happens and if this dreadful evening gets a happy end.

We look each other in they eyes and I gather what I just said wasn't the most sensitive thing to say and I see some romantic hope fading in the black of their eyes.

Sorry, just a joke, I say, trying to save the night, but they don't share my sense of humor (most Thai girls don't) or the timing of such a bold proposal wasn't ideal, but hey, how often do you get two hot girls in your room out of free will, it was worth the try.

I can't remember exactly how I got the girls out of my room, whether I brought them home or let them walk, but the night after Fai showed up again by herself and the night after that Jan again, also by herself, so by this time I'd gotten really sick and tired of having my sleep be disturbed by giks, and I started to see the value of having a love nest somewhere else to separate my private life from my sex life.

This near-threesome night taught me a bit more about Thai girls' minds, and how they often have a hidden agenda and covert ways to manipulate you into something you didn't expect.

I never had Fai nor Jan anymore individually although there were chances. In my mind, we should have ended with a grand farewell threesome as a proper way to say goodbye or with a competition who had the best to offer, but Fai lost her appetite to please and so did I to hunt, with only one gik at hand.
