• Articles must be 100% unique and original content. You should be the copyright holder.
• It should be well-written and free of incorrect facts. The content should be relevant to this site and could cover a topic about Chiang Mai, Thailand or even Southeast Asia.
• No cliche articles (such as: "My first elephant camp") but in-depth and personalised views that are valuable to our target audience.
• The length of an article should be at least 800 words and should include at least 1 picture (sized at least 150 kB, also unique).

A valuable link or payment can be offered in exchange for a good article.

If your article is a not that relevant / interesting for most of our target audience (a guest post), we can consider placing it against payment.

Comments policy

Website visitors are encouraged to post comments, reviews and other remarks on articles and businesses on this website. Chiang Mai Locator reserves the right to delete or edit comments at all time without further explanation.

If there is an issue with a comment, we will normally contact you first. If your email does not exist, generates an error or if no reply is received within a certain period of time, we may delete or edit the comment.

In the case of complaints or negative reviews that concern the page of an advertising business, we first notify the advertising business to give it the chance to contact the poster of the comment. This way, a healthy feedback mechanism is put in place and the business will have an opportunity to learn and to improve. Chiang Mai Locator is proud to have contributed in this way to better business practises in many businesses in Chiang Mai!
When a business is relatively new, (overly) negative comments may be deleted after some time to give the (advertising) business a fair chance to improve and start with a fresh slate, after we have forwarded the comments.

In this way, Chiang Mai Locator aims to strike a fair balance between website visitors with genuine comments and the interests of (advertising) businesses.
