One of Chiang Mai's newest shopping malls offering 50,000 sq meter of shopping space, a green frontage area, a new cinema called SF Cinema City, a medium size conference room, a food court, an outdoor amphi-theater for outdoor performances, a Garden, a 20-lane strike Bowl, karaoke rooms, a kids edutainment centre (to play and learn), and several brand stores. Opened in 2013. Positioning itself as Chiang Mai's first Resort Mall, Promenada aims to offer more than shopping: art, food, performances etc. Already it's changing the skyline of Chiang Mai's borders. Easily accessible for car lovers but a bit out of town for lazy city dwellers. There are shuttle buses from town to the mall (see schedule). Parking is free and Promenada is open on weekdays from 11.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. and weekends from 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. Promenada is owned and run by a Dutch investor which is planning more malls in Thailand in the near future.
