Ruyì is a great addition to the world of Chinese restaurants in Chiang Mai's. Just set up in 2019, Ruyì is the creation of a charming Singaporean lady who also gave birth to the adjacent Diplomat Single Malt Club and a Winebar. Ruyì offers MSG free food, pure yet tasty as your Chinese grandmother would serve it from her kitchen. The house Teochew congee is a wonderful base to have with all your dishes. Another unique and recommended dish is the pork belly. Pleasant, modern luxury feel interior and excellent service with English and Thai speaking staff. Reasonably priced with attractive promotions.
IMHO, the food here is better than in Tulou and Jiatongheng.
Ruyì (如意) is a Chinese word meaning wishful. May your wishes come true there!
