This is definitely one of the nicest and best places in town to have Thai food. It's a local, simple place, comfortably open and airy. Run by a Thai family under the leadership of Kanjana for already some 20 years (!), and nowadays more by daugher and Chef Ann, it offers honest and delicious home-made food. Kanjana makes authentic homemade Thai food, but will adapt to your taste, if you can't take spicy or you want your food in a certain way.
The restaurant offers an amazing full range of Thai food as well as some farang food. Most of it is very good to outstanding and home-made style, so you can eat it nearly every day. Only the vegetables have a bit too much of oyster sauce now and then.
The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back and you may make new friends here, as it's easy to make contact with other people at the table.
A must-eat for your stay in Chiang Mai, whether short stay or long stay.
