FOOD REVIEW BY MICHAEL (2013)
KUN CHURN
Average vegetarian food in lush garden
Cuisine: health foods, vegetarian
Rating: ★☆☆☆☆
Recommended dishes: salads during lunch buffet
Less recommended: salad dressings and cooked food
Price indication: not expensive; average meal about THB 100-200 / person
Open: every day for lunch and dinner; buffet until 2:30pm
Kun Churn offers healthy foods in a pleasant garden. Especially the lunch buffets are well attended by foreigners and Thai alike. Eat as much as you like.
The salads are okay, the dressings aren't (no olive oil nor fine vinegar, only prepared mixed dressings that don't match), and the cooked dishes are very average. The brown rice isn't always great, often too dry.
Not a place with great taste (suffering from the health food syndrom as usual), healthy perhaps, but with a pleasant ambiance due to the garden and the spaciousness.
