Muanjai started out at the end of covid in a small shop near the moat (at Sridonchai) but moved to a new location in 2024.
Not to be confused with another shop in the Old Town called Muanjai, which is a regular Thai massage shop.

This business was once poorly run when it was still near the moat, but after it moved to a new location it has somehow become a bit more professional in some ways, whiile still lacking the real thrill in other ways.

I tried both a 'normal' oil massage and a Karsai massage.

The oil massage was nothing special, the girl's skills were not exceptional, there was NO sensual touch at all, she wasn't even smiling or making an effort to make me aroused, and of course after half an hour came the usual question 'do you want special'. As she didn't arourse me at all, I wasn't too keen in either a HJ or full service, both options were offered. So she continued the massage in a somewhat mechanical way and ten minutes before the end she wanted me to shower to be done with it.
Her picture was way more gorgeous than she was in reality, in fact I had trouble to recognise her so be careful as this shop heavily photo-shops the pics.

On another day, I tried the Karsai massage and was surprised by the professional way the staff treated me: they were careful not to offer me cold water as it is not good to cool down the internal organs before treatment, they recommended no ejaculation for 3 days, and so on, in other words: the staff clearly followed procedures and teachings from a proper Karsai teacher.
The masseuse was pretty good, 50% of that is because she already did a proper Thai and and oil massage course. The style of massage was good and she did know how to treat me for certain symptoms. So she has a proper training.
The things that were missing are: no internal prostate massage and virtually no real stomach massage (Chi Nei Tsang).

So overall, the Karsai massage here is pleasant and much much better than in the Chinese run businesses (Holi, MOYO, Aloha and so on) because they never really invest in training for their staff, but by far not as good as in places like All about Touch, where you can also get the internal prostate massage and a proper Chi Nei Tsang abdominal massage as part of the Karsai treatment.

As for the other treatments in this shop, the general massage skills will vary and there is an emphasis on the extra options without real sensuality, so I find this below par.

Overall, I'd say it's still an average shop as they go for the laxy formula to let staff negotiate for extra options and then you don't really get a massage first.
