BUSINESS REVIEW BY MICHAEL
O2 GYM, newly opened in the beginning of 2015, is the perfect gym for those who don't want to commit to a long term expensive membership but still want to be able to use a wide selection of fitness equipment. This gym is quite large, has all the equipment you can imagine, and yet offers this all at total bargain prices.
One time walk in goes at only 60 baht (!), a yearly membership costs about 5,000-6,000 depending on promotions. Compare that to the prices of hotel gyms (normally 12,000 - 35,000 baht) and you know that you'll save quite a few pennies.
Yes, the lockers are basic and the bathrooms don't have hot water and only 2 showers, but it's still better than a cramped changing room in some of the hotel gyms in town and a lot of visitors here simply shower at home after their work out.
The main inconvenience is that the music in the cardio section is a bit loud, so if you're sensitive to that, bring your earplugs.
Other gyms in town, check our comparison.
