Galaethong Condo (or Galarethong Condo) is one of Chiang Mai's favourite condominium buildings. The building stands alone in a soi off Changklan road, allowing great views from nearly every unit.
Total some 15 stories high, with the highest floors consisting of penthouses. Well managed yet not expensive. The quality of the units depends on the level of renovation, of course.
The building doesn't have a swimming pool or fitness, but you can find both not far from the condo, in the Rati Lanna Hotel or at Centara Duang Tawan.
Standard size of a studio in this condo is about 42 sq.m. with a nice little balcony. The corner units are bigger, between 90-103 sq m. The common area fee of this condo is still relatively low at about 15 baht per sq. m.
There are condos for rent and condos for sale in this building, usually at quite competitve prices.
